No, I haven’t finished it yet. I’d given up at some point, but now I’m back more determined than ever to finish it. George Eliot doesn’t make it easy though, does she? Fear not, I’m too involved with the characters and the story; I have to actually pace myself to enjoy the book. Tonight I read the beginning of a great revelation, in my opinion, that left me giddy.
(On with spoilerish musings that won’t make much sense to those who haven’t read the novel.)

I’ve just noticed that you can set the border color of a drop down box in Firefox 1.5. Must be one of the new features, because I’m sure it wasn’t in the previous version. It had taken me only 216 checks to finally accept that only Opera lets me change the border color, not Firefox. IE7 beta? Don’t know, don’t care.
